Craving fried chicken? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 3630 Foothill Blvd. in Glendale, the newcomer is called 77 Chicken Dessert Cafe.
This new spot is all about Korean-style fried chicken with a variety of flavors to choose from. Look for the half or whole chicken prepared with soy, garlic, a sweet and spicy sauce, hot sauce or original, and choose from sides like Chinese dumplings, calamari, french fries, radishes and more.
Rounding out the menu are desserts like a red velvet cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake and a coffee parfait.
The fresh arrival has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 23 reviews on Yelp.
David S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 16th, said: "Ptl I don't have to drive all the way out to ktown for quality Korean chicken anymore! Prices are cheaper then neighborhood competition Chicken Day and quality is on point."
And Branden C. said: "I found this gem nearby while driving by foothill and had no idea that a new branch of 77 Kentucky had opened in la Crescenta."
