A new spot to score noodles and more has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Silver Lake, called We Have Noodles, is located at 3827 Sunset Blvd.
This new spot specializes in a variety of noodle dishes like Japanese ramen, Vietnamese pho and a khao soi from Thailand.
Look for starters like chicken gizzard kaarage, fried spring rolls and Chinese-inspired soup dumplings.
As for the noodles, expect to see some familiar mainstays with a twist, like Serrano ham shoyu ramen with a poached egg; Korean-style cold noodles with BBQ brisket and pickled veggies; and kabocha squash khao soi.
There are also draft beers on tap, as well as a selection of brews in cans and bottles.
With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, We Have Noodles has already made a good impression.
Edna L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 15th, said: "First time at We Have Noodles, and it certainly won't be my last! I am well aware of Chef Darren's talents through my experience at Eat Feastly and Smorgasorg LA."
Yelper Albert L. added: “Came out to this hipster ass area and came upon this place. Ordered the following: Fried chicken karaage Chicken and black truffle dumplings Khao soi Cold sesame noodles.”
And Tida C. said: "We Have Noodles is a home for a various noodle dishes from different Asian cultures. They offer favorites like pho and ramen, or less common noodles like Khao Soi."
