Looking to chow down on some Japanese fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 125 N Larchmont Blvd. in Windsor Square, the fresh addition is called Muraya.
Muraya recently took over the former California Roll and Sushi spot, and is serving up a variety of sushi mainstays, along with some signature twists.
Look for items like a baked salmon roll with brown rice; spicy tuna with tempura; a California roll with shrimp tempura and more. There are also poke bowls and starters like spicy garlic edamame.
With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has already made a good impression.
Sarah M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 4th, said: "This is my favorite sushi place in Larchmont!! It's not super fancy but a rather casual place with good food and outdoor seating so you can bring your furry friend along."
Yelper Joon L. added: “I had a fun time here at muraya. The sushi was really good with nice staff. This area is so nice too so its perfect for dates and family gatherings. Enjoys my time at parchment!”
And Juan L. said: "Had lunch here today, a lot of places mask the natural taste of fish with extra sauce... not Muraya, and fresh fish is their priority and I enjoyed every bit of it."
