Looking to chow down on some breakfast and brunch fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 12400 Wilshire Blvd. in Sawtelle, the new arrival is called Blu Jam Café.
The café—which has other outposts throughout Southern California and Japan—says it uses "local and organic ingredients to create gourmet breakfast and lunch dishes at an affordable price."
Breakfast is served all day, so expect to see items on the menu like chilaquiles with braised chicken and cilantro, a brunch burger with ground Wagyu beef and a sunny-side-up egg, and "Morning Hash" with black forest ham and baby spinach.
On the lunch side of the menu, look for dishes like a vegan split pea soup with grilled bread, a variety of grilled burgers, sandwiches, and entrees like herb chicken with sundried tomatoes and more. (You can view the full menu here.)
Blu Jam Café has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
Kristie L., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 25th, said: "Being a big fan of anything breakfast or brunch and Blu Jam has been a go-to restaurant for our household for some time now. I've visited both their Hollywood and Downtown LA locations."
