A new cosmetics and beauty supply spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Smashbox, the newcomer is located at 1335 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice.
Smashbox—born out of LA's Smashbox Studio—has locations throughout Southern California. It specializes in lipstick, primers and foundation, with an emphasis on creating products for the fashion and entertainment industries.
At the new storefront, look for the full line of Smashbox products, including eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, bronzer, concealer, and accessories.
There are free 15-minute makeup consultations available without an appointment. You can also book a makeup and photo session for you, a friend, or a group.
Smashbox has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
Adrienne D., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 17th, said: "I was walking around Abbot Kinney and noticed there was a new Smashbox store! If you're into makeup, you probably know the established beauty brand favored by the studios."
