Looking to chow down on some Peruvian fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 10717 Venice Blvd. in Palms, the newcomer is called El Huarique West LA.

This is El Huarique's third location in the LA area, offering Peruvian-style sandwiches, burgers, ceviche, and more.

The eatery is still ramping up the menu during its soft opening, but expect to see items like a fried fish sandwich with sarza criolla, a burger with blue cheese, mushrooms and caramelized onions, a "Three Chilies Ceviche" with an array of seafood ingredients, and more.

There are Peruvian sides as well, like yucca frita and fried plantain. (You can check out the Venice location's menu to get an idea of what's on offer.)

El Huarique has made a good impression thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Katherine P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 4th, said: "I have been a couple of times during the soft opening with my husband and we loved it! Menu was limited, but they had pisco sours and beer to make up for it! I will definitely be coming back!"

And Kurt Z. said: "Excited to have another Peruvian restaurant close by, since Lonzo's is always crowded now. We were there on the second night of their soft opening. Menu was limited as they ramp up."

El Huarique West LA is now open at 10717 Venice Blvd., so stop in to try it for yourself.
