A new spot to score coffee, tea, salads and sandwiches has debuted in the neighborhood. Located at 724 S Spring St. in Downtown, the newcomer is called Bardonna DTLA.
This new spot — located inside the newly minted Corporation Food Hall food court — offers a variety of brunch and lunch items like avocado toast, salads, sandwiches and more.
This isn't the eatery's first location: Bardonna boasts three other brick-and-mortar spots in Brentwood, Larchmont Village and Santa Monica.
On the menu, expect to see items like the paleo bowl with grilled chicken, greens and a poached egg, a BTLA sandwich and burrata toast with scrambled eggs topped with avocado.
There's also a selection of coffee drinks like lattes, mochas and "The Barcelona," a latte made with a touch of sweetened and condensed milk. (You can check out the full menu here.)
Bardonna DTLA has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Jud A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 1st, said: "AMAZING!!!! Some of the best breakfast I've ever had. It's inside Corporation Food Hall and doesn't have a sign so it's easy to miss. Community style seating ..."
Yelper Sonia S. added: “... Great coffee. Great service. Lots of good food options especially if you are looking for healthier (or vegetarian) options.”
