A new spot to score sushi burritos and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 621 S Western Ave. in the Wilshire Center, the fresh arrival is called Fish-RRito.
Ordering at Fish-RRito is similar many to many poke-bowl spots. Select your base (rice, salad, or a sushi burrito); add a protein like tuna, salmon, and octopus; mix in your choice of veggies; and then top it off with a sauce like balsamic or sweet chili.
If you'd rather have a burrito built for you, signature sushi burritos include the "Fishritto" with shrimp tempura, salmon, spicy tuna, and kale and the "Fisherman's Classic" with scallops, shrimp, masago, and sauerkraut.
With a five-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has already made a good impression.
Charlean S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 21st, said: "Have you tried Sushirrito in San Francisco? Fishrrito is similar, but you can customize your own burrito! Plus they have bowls too!!"
Yelper David S. added: “At last, a sushi burrito joint in LA. These guys are no joke. They stuff everything in these burritos. It was so huge and colorful, I had the happy bloated gut after.”
