If tacos are what you're after, look no further than this new business. The fresh arrival to Venice, called La Tostaderia, is located at 1121 Abbot Kinney Blvd.

La Tostaderia—which got its start as a vendor at DTLA's Grand Central Market—specializes in seafood-focused Mexican fare, with tacos, tostadas and more.

On the menu, expect to see items like octopus tacos with daikon, cucumbers, and bean sprouts; a fish ceviche with red onions and celery; and aguachile with raw shrimp, radishes, charred habanero sauce and more.

There are also a few specials, like the "Patrona Burger" with shrimp, Oaxaca cheese and crispy potatoes. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, La Tostaderia has already made a good impression.

Bryan W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 30th, said: "Delighted to have another Grand Central Market alum move to Venice. Thumbs up for cheap eats on Abbot Kinney. Cool vibe. I enjoyed the fish ceviche which was quite a deal for $6-7."

Yelper Zach J. added: “Honestly, some of the best fish tacos and ceviche I've ever had. Another addition to Venice from Grand Central Market that will almost certainly be in this neighborhood for years to come.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. La Tostaderia is open Monday–Wednesday from 9am–6pm, and Thursday–Sunday from 9am–10pm.
