A new spot to score pizza and more has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new addition to Hoover, called Mountain Mike's Pizza, is located at 1089 East Shaw Ave.
The chain pizzeria—which has locations throughout California, Oregon, Nevada, and Utah—serves a variety of signature and customizable pies.
On the menu, expect to see pizzas featured like "The Everest" with pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami, linguica, beef and veggies; "Mt. Veggiemore" with mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes; and "Robbers Roost" with chicken, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and a creamy garlic sauce. Mountain Mike's Pizza has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Brenda G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 22nd, said: "First time at this location. I can say the staff is very friendly, especially the cashier, very nice young lady. We will be returning."
Yelper Brandon A. added: “Really good pizza and really nice atmosphere and I'd definitely come back again."
