Hungry? A new neighborhood Korean spot has you covered. The new addition to Hollywood, called BBQ + RICE Korean BBQ Bowls, is located at 7363 W. Sunset Blvd.
As the name suggests, this new spot specializes in Korean-style rice bowls, with a variety of options to choose from.
On the menu, expect to see items like a bulgogi bowl with shiitake mushrooms, crispy onions, and house-made pickles; a black pepper chicken bowl with pimento and bok choy; and a wok-fried tofu bowl with eggplant and cashews.
There are sides available as well, like Korean fried chicken and a bulgogi veggie wrap. (You can check out the full menu here.)
The fresh arrival has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Andrew S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 24th, said: "GET YOUR BOWL NOW! De-freaking-licious. I had dinner here one night during their soft opening, and had the Black Pepper Chicken with sauteed soy- and fruit-based marinated chicken, and bok choy."
Yelper Spacewolf 3. added: “Yummy! So happy to have this place is in my neighborhood! Lots of flavor going on in this place! I had the galbi and a side of pickles. Generous portions; worth the $. Will definitely be going back.”
And Jason L. said: "The restaurant was amazing. They have so many options! You can choose whatever you want. I recommend galbi and bulgogi. The food is so fresh! I visited twice and and I was satisfied with the food."
