A new nail salon has debuted in Century City. Located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd. inside the Westfield Century City mall, the newcomer is called The House of Polish.
The Westfield location is actually the second for House of Polish, which opened its original outpost in Beverly Hills in 2014. Owned by Robert Nguyen, an OPI international guest artist known for his 3-D nail art and his appearance on the reality show Nail'd It, the salon specializes in complicated techniques like hand-painted nail art, ombré nails, and Swarovski crystal nails.
For those who prefer to keep it basic, standard manicures and pedicures are also offered. The salon even provides iPads and bedazzled Beats by Dre headphones to keep customers entertained while they're having their nails done. (A full menu of services is available here.)
It's still early days for the fledgling business, but it's earned two five-star reviews on Yelp thus far.
Candice F., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on October 9th, said: "I love this place. It's much closer to my place, and I don't have to struggle to find parking. Their artists are great, and their receptionist Christian is extremely friendly. FIVE STARS FOR THIS PLACE!"
Leah D. agreed: "First experience at HoP and it was amazing. Nomi did a flawless job on my nails, and I'm confident I could go to any artist here and they would deliver. Also an extremely relaxing experience, because parking at the mall is so easy."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. The House of Polish is open Monday–Saturday from 10am–9pm, and Sunday from 11am–7pm.
