Looking to chow down on some Persian/Iranian fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 19006 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana, the fresh arrival is called Wish Dish Cafe.

This café's motto is "If you make a wish, we make the dish," with a little something for everyone, co-founder Minoo Roohparvar says on its website.

On the menu, look for traditional Persian standbys like beef or chicken koobideh kabob served with veggies, saffron basmati rice and a salad.

To round out the kabob menu, there's also Cornish hen, fried salmon, and Soltani beef.

You can choose from an array of sides, like ghormeh sabzi with beef, herbs, and kidney beans; gheymeh bademjan with beef, split peas, fried onion, and eggplant; and a falafel platter with hummus and tzatziki. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, Wish Dish Cafe has already made a good impression.

Pedram M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 2nd, said: "Great all-around restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasing. The food is even better. Highly recommend getting the barg kabob. It's amazing."

Yelper Adib F. added: “So happy and cute vibe. I am very picky when it comes to food ... this may be my new fave in the city. Well done, guys. Impeccable service and the meal was perfect, 10/10.”

Head on over to check it out: Wish Dish Cafe is open Friday and Saturday from 11am–1am, and Sunday–Thursday from 11am–11pm.
