A new food stand and traditional American breakfast and brunch spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 4632 Santa Monica Blvd. in East Hollywood, the new arrival is called Jose Chiquito.
Located inside the Union Swapmeet, Jose Chiquito specializes in American-style breakfast and lunch, served all day. The eatery also has a location at the Grand Central Market in Los Angeles.
For breakfast, expect to see items like chorizo and eggs, omelets, breakfast burritos, pancakes and more.
Switching over to lunch, the menu features items like burgers, wraps with chicken and pesto; tuna, chicken, and chef salads, and sandwiches like New York pastrami, a Reuben, and more. (You can check out the full menu here.)
The fresh arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Mindy L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 5th, said: "This is Jose Chiquito's second location. Solid place for breakfast all day and for sandwiches. Breakfast burrito is great and the pancakes are so fluffy!"
Yelper Jordan J. added: “10% discount for all LACC students!!! This place is awesome! Such a diverse yet delicious menu! From breakfast to lunch and there are plenty of options of both and in between.”
