A new spot to score desserts, ice cream and more has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 528 S Western Ave. in Koreatown, the newcomer is called Milk Tavern.

Milk Tavern bills itself as a "innovative playground for adults," with liquor-infused ice cream, old-school video games, ping pong, movie nights and more.

On the menu, expect to see ice cream flavors like Maker's Mark, Jameson, Kahlúa and coffee, tequila sorbet and more. There are nonalcoholic flavors and soft-serve options available as well.

The spot also features a cereal bar, where guests can choose from 18 varieties of breakfast treats with a choice of milk and a variety of toppings like Kit Kat bars, Oreos, brownie bites, bananas, and more to round things out.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 60 reviews on Yelp so far, Milk Tavern is on its way to developing a local fan base.

Nikki R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 18th, said: "A chill lounge for adults to unwind and enjoy some drinks and boozy ice cream while relaxing or playing games? Count me in! As they have displayed on the walls and at the bar: #olderkidsonly."

Yelper Rhea C. added: “I admit I did find this place on Yelp, but if I were walking passed it or driving by it and I would be intrigued to stop by.”

And Karen L. said: "Solid dessert/lounge spot! There's plenty of options, so people are bound to find something they like here, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Had the Kahlua ice cream in a hazelnut cone—great."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Milk Tavern is open Thursday–Saturday from 2pm–1:30am, and Sunday–Wednesday from 2pm–11:30pm.
