Craving tacos? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The new addition to West Adams, called Taco Window, is located at 2622 W. Jefferson Blvd.
Taco Window is a nod to LA street food culture and an "homage to the community."
On the menu, expect to see items like a carne asada taco with skirt steak, homemade red chorizo tacos, white fish ceviche on a tostada with jalapeños, and more.
House-made chips, salsa and guacamole are on offer as well. And for dessert, there's homemade churros. (You can check out the full menu here.)
With a five-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, Taco Window has already made a good impression.
Johnny H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 16th, said: "This is literally a hole in the wall. There is no place to sit. You can't go in. But you will want to keep coming back. Fantastic fish tacos and fresh guacamole. Great hot sauce."
Yelper Rhea C. added: “I just had some fish and vegan tacos yesterday and wanted some again today, but wanted to try a different place. Yes I said it. Two days in a row ... don't judge me. Lol.”
And Christopher S. said: "4.5 stars. Killer product. These guys are serious cooks. Highest quality ingredients. Excellent salsas. They make their own tortillas! And why not? Welcome to the neighborhood."
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Taco Window is open Monday–Saturday from 11am–8pm. (It's closed on Sunday.)
