If coffee is what you're after, look no further than this new business. Called Standing Egg Coffee, the new addition is located at 2833 1/2 Hyperion Ave. in Silver Lake.
This new spot features Andante Coffee Roasters for its espresso-based drinks and pour-over coffees, with a rotating menu of single-origin beans on offer.
On the menu, expect to see espresso drinks like macchiatos, cold brews, cortados, lattes, mochas and more. For single-origin pour-overs, look for beans soured from Columbia, Guatemala, Brazil, and Ethiopia.
The café also has free wi-fi.
The fresh arrival has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Erica K., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 30th, said: "My new fav coffee spot! I love the ambiance here. It's a cute, cozy cafe with couple tables and stools. Nice interior design and open space, the menu is straightforward, and the service is good."
Yelper Jin L. added: “Around this area, there are tons of great coffee options, but Standing Egg Coffee is easily one of my favorites. The taste and quality of the coffee is excellent.”
And Michael J. said: "If you are a coffee enthusiast, this is a must to check out in town. Barista was knowledgeable about coffee and offered me a perfect drink (cold brew) as if they knew my taste. Very friendly."
