
Looking to chow down on some Filipino fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Tatang, the new arrival is located at 10829 Oxnard St. in North Hollywood.
This new fast-casual spot has an array of classic Filipino dishes on hand. On the menu, look for small plates like lon-ga-nisa meatballs, chicken lumpia, and grilled pork belly.
For mains, expect to see dishes like chicken sisig with a poached egg; chicken adobo; beef or pork ribs; and noodle soups like ti-no-la, with chicken, bok choy, squash, scallions, and crispy garlic.
Rounding things out are desserts, including housemade ube (purple taro root) ice cream.
With a five-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp so far, Tatang has been warmly received by patrons.
T M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on November 21st, said: "Really cute, comfortable Filipino restaurant located in North Hollywood, just minutes away from Noho Arts District. Went for dinner this evening and tried a variety of items."
Yelper Jennie P. added: “We went to Tatang yesterday and had a FEAST. So good! You can tell how much the owners care about the food and quality of your experience. The chef even came over to talk to us!”
And Shylo G. said: "This place is amazing! I came here with my kids—the environment is so calm, and wow, the food. Right away, service was on point. The owners/staff were beyond great."
