Hungry? A new neighborhood Mediterranean spot has you covered. Called Xhea, the newcomer is located at 3315-B Cahuenga Blvd W. in Hollywood Hills.

This new eatery specializes in Persian-influenced fast-casual fare and offers a variety of options to choose from like bowls, kabob plates, wraps, "tacos," and more.

The menu features a build-your-own-bowl concept where customers start with a base like lafa bread, rice, shredded lettuce, or fries. Next, you can add in a choice of spreads such as kalamata olive hummus, tzatziki or baba ghanoush; then finish it off with toppings like diced cucumbers, red cabbage and dressings like yogurt dill or Greek vinaigrette.

Wraps and "tacos" can be customized the same way, or you can simply choose between chicken breast or lamb and beef kabobs with a choice of side. (Take a look at the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Xhea has already made a good impression.

Benny R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on January 27th, said: "The new kid on the block is definitely raising eyebrows and getting plenty of attention, putting your classic kabob and falafel on stage in a show of Iranian excellence. These guys set the standard."

And Nooneh K. said: "The spices and fresh ingredients are outstanding. I've had the combination of beef and beef-lamb combination with fresh and marinated sides. The tabouli is one of the best I've ever had."

Head on over to check it out: Xhea is open daily from 11am–10pm.
