Alternation Brewing Company
1539 S Broadway., Overland

Alternation Brewing Company debuted last December on South Broadway, with three frequently rotating taps.
Denver Hopper notes that its founders, Brendan and Jenn Pleskow, envisioned the taproom as a way for people to "dabble in different beer on a regular basis." It's closed Monday through Wednesday to give Brendan plenty of time to create fresh, interesting brews.
With five stars out of 17 reviews on Yelp, the tiny brewery is receiving positive nods.
Yelper Chris R., one of the first Yelpers to review Alternation Brewing Company, said, "Stopped here yesterday and couldn't believe they've only been open since December. Every beer was delicious; often new breweries take some time to grow into the space and equipment, but these guys nailed it right away."
Alternation Brewing Company is open from 4 p.m.–10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, noon–10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–8 p.m. on Sunday.
Dog Haus Biergarten
8316 Northfield Blvd, Ste 1610., Stapleton

The popular national hot dog chain has spread to Colorado. Open since January, Northfield's Dog Haus Biergarten offers an extensive menu of hot dogs, corn dogs and burgers, craft beer, spirts and more.
With a 3.5-star rating out of 31 reviews on Yelp, the kitchen at Dog Haus Biergarten may be still finding its footing. But many Yelpers have been thrilled with the extensive beer menu, which includes 24 craft beers on tap.
Dog Haus Biergarten is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Rino Beer Garden
3800 Walnut St., Cole

Rino Beer Garden is an oasis for sun-loving sports fans. The German-style pub offers a massive beer garden, complete with fire pits, plenty of communal seating, views of the venue's 18 big-screen televisions and access to 60 beers on tap.
Run by the folks at Historians Ale House, Rino also serves up lunch, brunch and happy hour specials, ranging from chocolate-smothered pancakes to pulled-pork sliders.
So far, Rino Beer Garden's has received 3.5 stars out of 32 reviews on Yelp, with users' opinions often varying depending on their appreciation for loud music.
Kelly M., for one, highly recommended the bar, stating, "This restaurant is not just a sports bar, beer garden, or restaurant for German food. It is a place to bring people together since there were so many different groups mingling amongst each other."
Rino Beer Garden is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
Thirsty Monk Denver
1604 E 17th Ave., City Park West

Thirsty Monk Denver is a 12-barrel brewery now open along “Restaurant Row” in Uptown.
The brewery got its start nearly a decade ago in Asheville, North Carolina. According to 5280 magazine, this is one of the chain's first locations outside of its home state.
In addition to the Belgian-style brews on tap, you'll find a selection of "food flights," each offering an array of bite-sized snacks prepared by nearby restaurants.
Reviews are few, still, but so far the location seems to be going over well.
Yelper Matthew A., who reviewed Thirsty Monk Denver on April 12, wrote, "What a great new spot. Stumbled in here after having dinner in Uptown and could not have been happier."
Thirsty Monk Denver is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday-Thursday, noon–1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon–10 p.m. on Sunday.
