A new pop-up museum has opened its doors in Glendale from now through May 31. Called The Museum of Selfies, it is located at 211 N. Brand Blvd. and is a "lighthearted exploration of the history and cultural phenomenon of selfies through the ages," the OC Register reports.

Created by game designers Tair Mamedov and Tommy Honton, the temporary museum features 15 interactive exhibits, works by selfie artists, and a 90-foot-long selfie stick billed as the longest in the world.

The Museum of Selfies has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 35 reviews on Yelp.

Leslie T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 15, said, "There are so many sections in the museum to take cool photos and they even loan you a selfie stick if you don't own one. Trust me, you will need it! Bring your family and friends... I believe everyone should experience this."

Yelper Meilyn A. offered this tip, "Parking structure around back has 90 minutes free parking. It's near Porto's Bakery, so you can grab a snack afterwards.”

"The museum is, for most part, exactly what you imagine it would be," explained Moses S. "Cool location filled with selfie opportunities. It's like the 'Ice Cream' museum in that regard. But unlike the ice cream museum, here you will find historical facts, interesting statistics and a view of the world seen through a single filter."

Interested? Stop by while the light is still good. The Museum of Selfies is open from noon–8 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
