Copper Door Coffee Roasters

Over in Lowery Field, Copper Door Coffee Roasters has opened its doors to the public.

The only 100 percent female-owned coffee roaster in Denver, this shop sells everything from espresso drinks and lattes to bags of freshly roasted coffee and coffee-making accessories. 

Yelp users are generally positive about Copper Door Coffee Roasters, which currently holds four stars out of five reviews on the site.

Yelper Brian F., who reviewed Copper Door Coffee Roasters on February 27th, wrote, "Amazing coffee that tastes fresh and not burnt, which is key to a coffee shop. The workers are always friendly and greet you with a smile."

Christopher S. noted, "Copper Door is a small, independent coffee roaster and shop in the Hangar 2 Building of Lowry. Great coffee, friendly service and a fresh, clean environment make this coffee shop stand out."

In Hale, chocolatier Stargazer Fine Chocolates is offering up the perfect mix of chocolates and coffee. 

Inside the shop, you'll find a wide range of delicious chocolate treats, including flavored truffles, chocolate-covered pretzels and rice-crispy treats. You can also order something from the in-store coffee shop, like an espresso, a latte, Japanese iced coffee or, not surprisingly, hot chocolate.

Stargazer Fine Chocolates currently holds five stars out of 23 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Indigo S. noted, "This is a family owned establishment with friendly service and very high quality truffles, including a spacious coffee shop with a delicious selection of treats and tea."

Yelper Allie S. wrote, "I was excited to see they carried many hot chocolate drinks, among them milk chocolate, ~60% dark, ~70% dark, and a spicy Mayan option. I opted for the ~70% dark which was great. The truffles were delicious and I can't wait to try more of their chocolates in the future."

Stargazer Fine Chocolates is open weekdays from 8am–7pm, and Saturday from 8am–4pm. (It's closed on Sunday.)

Pinwheel Coffee

Finally, over in Highland, Pinwheel Coffee has opened up shop.

This student-run cafe serves up a laundry list of caffeinated drinks and pastries, and it offers an ideal spot to catch-up with friends or work on your laptop.

Pinwheel Coffee currently holds five stars out of 10 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Julie N., who reviewed Pinwheel Coffee on February 22nd, wrote, "Very cute decor! They have free WiFi so it's great for getting work done."

Amber B. noted, "Pinwheel is the real deal. I went in on a random weekday and had an amazing latte with added hazelnut. I'm not going to lie, it was one of the better cups of coffee I've had in our neighborhood!"

Yelper Megan R. wrote, "They've got a pretty extensive coffee and tea menu, as well as some sodas, sparkly waters, and snacks. The whole thing is a project by the local Montessori middle and high schools. Totally support everything that's going on here and will definitely be back! "
