Poke fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. The new addition to Burbank, called Poke Cafe, is located at 214 E. Olive Ave.

Similar to most poke eateries, the menu features a build-your-own bowl concept where diners first start by choosing a base like white or brown rice, soba noodles, salad or half and half. You can then choose a protein like spicy tuna, salmon or tofu and mix in a sauce such as sriracha, garlic wasabi or sweet shoyu (soy sauce).

Round the meal out by adding toppings like pickled red radish, edamame, seaweed salad and more. (You can check out the full menu here.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, Poke Cafe has been warmly received by patrons.

Cris I., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 28, said, "My previous reviews on poke places were usually based on the quality of proteins and toppings. I find every poke place similar but quality makes a great deal of difference. I'm happy and so I, thus give the place a good review."

Yelper Carlo T. added, “Solid place for poke, great options, easy to order, great service. This is across the street from my work so it's super convenient."

And Everette A. said, "This is a good place with friendly service. The bowls are reasonably priced for what you get. The large portion is definitely something that can be shared."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Poke Cafe is open from 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday-Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
