If sandwiches are what you're after, look no further than this new eatery. Called Curtis Park Delicatessen - Cherry Creek, the fresh addition is an offshoot of the original deli, which is located in the historic Curtis Park. The new location can be found at 2700 E. Sixth Ave., Unit B, in Cherry Creek.
Freshly baked bread arrives every morning from City Bakery, the deli says on its website, with all condiments and pickles made in-house. Westword recently named the original location one of the best sandwich shops in Denver.
Nine sandwiches are available, including a vegetarian and seasonal option. Look for the signature Curtis sandwich with corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and house-made Thousand Island, or try the Park with fried egg, prosciutto, white cheddar and butter.
Thirsty? Curtis Park Deli sources locally roasted beans from the Kaladi Brothers and offers Americanos, lattes, on tap cold brew toddies and more.
With a five-star rating out of 14 reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has already garnered fans.
David T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 21, said, "It's neat, clean and there's even a roll-up window to give it a slightly indoor/outdoor feel. Ordered the American — oven-roasted turkey, tomato, red onion, house-made aioli, mixed greens and smoked Gouda cheese for $10.23."
Yelper Amy B. added, “I had the veggie sandwich, and it was to die for! I am not a big lunchmeat person and have tried many veggie sandwiches at many sandwich shops. I absolutely loved this veggie sandwich, and will be trying every sandwich on the menu if they are as good as the veggie.”
Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. The Curtis Park Deli in Cherry Creek is open from 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
