Craving Indian fare but short on time? Namkeen is a new fast-casual eatery located in the Zeppelin Station food hall.

The eatery comes courtesy of chef Cindhura Reddy and her husband, Elliot Strathmann, who both also own Spuntino. Namkeen, which means salty or savory in Hindi, "is a collaboration of all of the best Indian street food they enjoyed in their travels, as well as a space to share some family recipes," the new arrival says on its website.

On the menu, look for traditional spicy fried chicken with curry leaves, chickpea curry and a selection of Indian snacks, beer, wine, drinks and desserts.

With four stars out of five reviews on Yelp, Namkeen has been getting positive attention.

"We had a couple of the samosas and they were very good," wrote Yelper Stephen M. "Big, crispy, and filled to the brim with flavorful curried potatoes and peas. It came with some chutney and mint sauce. Also nice is that this is the one food station that has water readily available."

And Steve P. added, "Stopped in for lunch and had the chicken — it was superb. Topped it off with an awesome samosa. Will be back!"

Namkeen is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
