A new Armenian and modern European spot has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 113 N Maryland Ave. in Glendale, the fresh arrival is called Khinkali House. The restaurant was previously called Tumanyan Khinkali Factory.
Khinkali House's original restaurant has been serving guests for over a decade in Armenia. In its Glendale location, it has adapted its original menu and restaurant atmosphere, but it still specialized in khinkali, a Georgian dumpling.
On the menu, look for khinkali, Russian-style ravioli, meat and vegetable skewers, and a long list of appetizers and salads.
Khinkali House has already attracted fans, with an impressive five-star rating out of 31 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Teta V. wrote, "Great choice of khinkali, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Highly recommend to try mushroom khinkali."
Garen D. added, "Dined here again yesterday evening and would like to say that as always, the food was great. It was authentically made. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful."
