Krewella at The Metropolitan Nightclub

Catch the electronic pop-rock band Krewella at The Metropolitan Nightclub this Friday night.

Currently consisting of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf, the band formed in 2007 and began making waves just a few years later with an EP that hit the number one spot on Billboard's Dance Radio Airplay chart. Melding pop-rock, electro house and dubstep influences, Krewella has headlined numerous music festivals, including EDC, Ultra Music Festival and Stereosonic.

When: Friday, June 15, 9 p.m.- Saturday, June 16, 4 a.m.

Brass band blowout with Milne Inspiration Center

Join the Milne Inspiration Center for a blow-out cultural experience this Saturday night. The organization's annual fundraiser hosts a musical competition and cultural display featuring soul singer Tonya Boyd Cannon, the New Orleans Youth Choir, the Twentyfirst Century BrassBand and Da Truth Brass Band.

Proceeds from the event fund free youth development programs for at-risk youth in New Orleans, Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Johannesburg, South Africa.

When: Saturday, June 16, 7-11 p.m.
Where: Eiffel Society, 2040 St. Charles Ave.

MoneyBagg Yo at Masquerade Night Club

Just a handful of tickets remain for a Father's Day evening with MoneyBagg Yo at Harrah's Masquerade Night Club.

The 27-year-old rapper from South Memphis, Tennessee, has been dropping mixtapes since 2012. His 2016 album "ELO" (Everybody Lives On) — a tribute to his best friend who was gunned down the previous year — struck a chord with the South and North Memphis communities. And his most recent projects, Federal 3X and 2 Heartless, debuted at the number five and number 16 spots on the Billboard 200 chart, respectively.
