Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top burger hot spots in Metairie, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to satisfy your cravings.

1. Atomic Burger

Topping the list is Atomic Burger. Located at 3934 Veterans Blvd., this fast-food joint is the highest-rated burger spot in Metairie, boasting four stars out of 221 reviews on Yelp.

It's not a complicated menu: beef, turkey or portobello burgers, french fries or edamame, and drinks. But the details count. Burgers can be topped with house-roasted poblano peppers or bacon-onion jam. Fries can be dipped in Sriracha mayonnaise, roasted garlic aioli or spicy ketchup. Offerings include an Angus beef patty on a potato or multigrain bun, topped with veggies (pickle, lettuce, onion, green chiles) and one of several sauces, including ketchup and spicy ranch.
