A new Greek spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 8009 Norfolk Ave. in Woodmont Triangle, the fresh addition is called Thelo Greek Grill.

Owner Yannis Panayotopoulos told Bethesda Magazine that his goal is to dish up "affordable, high-quality food made from fresh ingredients." While he didn't pick favorite items from the menu, he told the magazine that “our béchamel sauce walks on water.”

Thelo Greek Grill has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Sevan S. said, “The service is prompt, the food was delicious and I appreciated the decor. Came here with my dad for dinner one night and we both ordered the chicken and lamb platter.”

And Danielle M. added, "Thelo opened up a few weeks ago. The food is great- very tasty. They are still working out a few kinks with the menu. I got the shrimp saganaki, which was flavorful."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Thelo Greek Grill is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
