A new taqueria has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 2634 W. Orangethorpe Ave., the new addition is called Esteban's Family Tacos.

On the menu, expect to find fresh Mexican fare like tacos, enchiladas and menudo — a traditional Mexican soup made with beef stomach in a red chili pepper base. 

Esteban's Family Tacos is still getting its social media footprint started, so stay tuned for more from the business online.

The taqueria has gotten off to an uneven start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.

Jose S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 21, said, "Please come and support this family and their delicious food. Ordered some hard shell tacos (which are really good) and pambazos (delicious). They did not disappoint. The food is fairly priced, and the best part is that all the food is made fresh to order. I will be going back again."

"Just had some of their menudo and it was one of the best menudo's I've had," stated Frank C. "It was very clean, not greasy like most places."
