Curious about the latest offerings from the business community in Washington? From a cycling apparel store to an ice cream shop, read on to see the newest destinations in town.
Rapha

Rapha, the London-based cycling apparel company, has opened its doors at 3210 Grace St. in Georgetown. The store is a permanent replacement for a previous pop-up.
The shop is both a retail store for high-performance cycling clothing — ranging from jerseys and shorts to eyewear and leather goods — and a cafe serving coffee and pastries. It's also a meeting place for bike enthusiasts to plan local rides where they can show off their gear.
Sushi Nakazawa

Famed sushi chef Daisuke Nakazawa has opened his second namesake restaurant, this time at the Trump International Hotel, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C. Sushi Nakazawa brings the same omakase (chef's choice) approach to the menu that has made his New York restaurant of the same name famous.
According to the Washington Post, chef Nakazawa — who trained under Jiro Ono of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" fame — is "by many measures, the best sushi chef in the United States and perhaps the best outside Japan."
Toryumon Japanese House

A respite from the downtown bustle has opened at 1901 Pennsylvania Ave. Toryumon Japanese House is a subterranean spot for sushi, sashimi and hibachi.
There are also numerous ramen options ranging from vegetarian to Tokyo style with tonkotsu broth and pork belly, and Korean-inflected dishes like bulgogi beef steamed buns and japchae (glass noodles stir-fried with veggies and thinly sliced beef).
Southwest Soda Pop Shop

Is it summer yet? If so, it's time for ice cream, and those near the Southwest Waterfront have a new place to indulge. Southwest Soda Pop Shop, at the Wharf (1142 Maine Ave. SW), serves up ice cream cones, sundaes, ice cream sandwiches, shakes, floats and other frozen treats.
