Looking to chow down on some French-Mexican fusion fare? A new spot has you covered. The newcomer to West Hills, called Casa Nueva, is located at 23759 Roscoe Blvd. on the corner of Roscoe and Valley Circle.

On the menu, expect to find fusion starters like truffle fries with cotija cheese, salmon skin tempura strips served with green Peruvian sauce and a chef's special of the day.

Entrees include truffle risotto with grilled herb tiger shrimp; fiesta chicken served in a cream sauce with lime cilantro rice; and skillet-cooked filet mignon with mushroom sauce, pink Himalayan salt and fresh cracked pepper. (You can check out the dining menu here.)

Thirsty? An assortment of craft beer and wine is on hand, along with a variety of tea and espresso drinks. (See the drink menu here.)

A 3.5-star rating indicates Casa Nueva is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Marie D., who reviewed the new spot on June 27, wrote, "Just had the best shrimp risotto! The server was friendly and quick. Great environment for any occasion."

"Great local eatery with wonderful attentive staff," wrote Yelper C H. "Nice upscale, but casual vibe. ... The food prepared by chef Melissa is delicious and very well presented."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Casa Nueva Lounge is open from 5–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 5–10 p.m. on Friday, 3–10 p.m. on Saturday and 3–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
