Lit Nightclub

Lit Nightclub is a tri-level dance club that offers local hip-hop and reggae DJs nightly. On Sunday, it has an extra-long party that goes from opening to close.

It offers a selection of food, like street tacos, wings, sliders, salads and more, alongside a full bar that has shots, cocktails, beer and wine.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp thus far, the new club is off to a promising start.

Mannalle E., who reviewed it on July 6, wrote, "My favorite club to go to when I'm in Denver! So much hospitality, the staff is gorgeous, the food is fabulous and the rooftop is to die for! This nightclub is also a great place for day meetings and parties."

Samantha S. added, "The atmosphere is always fun and energetic. The staff is super on top of their game! The bottle service is the way to go if you ask me. I'm a big fan of the hookahs, too. It's also got a pretty dope rooftop."

Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a Southern and traditional American spot, offering barbecue and more. This Texas-based chain, with outposts across the country, smokes its meat on-site at each location.

The menu features meats like pulled pork, beef brisket, Polish kielbasa sausage and pork ribs. You can get these on platters or sandwiches. Sides include potato salad, cabbage slaw and barbecue beans. Kids eat free on Sunday.

The new addition has a three-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far.

Jenn U., who reviewed the restaurant on July 9, wrote, "Great food. I like that you can get two or three meats with a plate. Will definitely be back."

And Shaughn L. wrote, "I'm so glad there's a Dickey's in Green Valley Ranch. The restaurant was really busy, but they had enough people working so the line moved quickly. I ordered a sandwich plate, which came with a delicious bun and really good smoked meat."

Queen City Collective Coffee

Queen City Collective Coffee is a coffee roastery that also has a roasting room on Fourth Avenue.

Westword reports the business was started two years ago by brothers Luke, Scott and Eric Byington after years spent working on humanitarian programs and rural development in Africa. Now, the roastery has made it a priority to partner with women farmers when possible in Africa and Central America. 

Four types of roasts are on offer and, if you sign up for a coffee subscription, you will get the beans delivered straight to your doorstep.

Queen City Collective Coffee has already attracted fans thus far, with a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.

Sassafras B., who reviewed the new spot on July 2, wrote, "Ain't going to lie: this is the best coffee I've had in Colorado. ... The coffee is incredible. I'm a complete coffee snob and I don't judge lightly. This is really good. The physical space is nice. Very sunny, plenty of outlets, good internet and easy parking."

And Kelli L. wrote, "Fantastic new coffee shop in Baker. The barista was so friendly and made a beautiful latte. Happy to have this new shop in the neighborhood!"

Queen City Collective Coffee is open from 7 a.m.–3 p.m. daily.

SOS Catering

SOS Catering is a food truck and caterer that offers vegan fare. If you want to track the truck's location, just check its Facebook page for updates.

On the menu, look for Sam's Reuben (marbled rye toasted and filled with seitan, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing and vegan Swiss cheese), the Cauliflower Wrap (flour tortilla with roasted cauliflower, greens, spinach, tortilla strips and choice of spicy buffalo or sweet teriyaki sauce) and the chili fries (chili, vegan cheese and chopped onion). The new eatery only has a single review on Yelp thus far, which puts it at five stars.

Ashley R., who reviewed it on June 27, wrote, "So happy to see another vegan food truck hit the Denver metro area! SOS Catering is a great addition to the already successful club, and brings their own delicious plant-powered and cruelty-free menu (think loaded chili fries, barbecue jackfruit quesadillas, Reubens, wraps and tacos)."

Though SOS Catering has yet to post its official hours online, you can generally know when it's open by following it on social media.
