Officers Club is a bar and restaurant that serves classic cocktails alongside New American fare. According to its site, the bar celebrates the history of the nearby Lowry Air Force Base by creating a modern take on the classic officers clubs during their mid-century heyday.

If you're there for drinks, look for cocktails, a wine list, beers and spirits. Among the cocktails, you'll find classic combinations, as well as twists on old favorites, including the Old School (Old Overholt Rye, sugar cube, angostura bitters and orange twist) and the Manhattan Project (Templeton Rye, Carpano Antica Formula, orange bitters, Barrel Aged and bordeaux cherry). Yelper Ivan V., who reviewed the bar on June 25, wrote, "Excellent service! My wife had the striped bass and I had the chicken tenders. So good. Also try the cheddar butter biscuits. Great strong drinks!"

Anita S. noted, "Classy decor with the right amount of 50s feel without the need to have anything cheesy or obvious. The staff was welcoming and the waitstaff knew their stuff! ... The cocktail options are vast and unique, you should give them a try."

Cerveceria Colorado

Cerveceria Colorado brews up its own beers, which are inspired by the flavors of Mexico. These include Horchata Blonde (a sweet beer brewed with rice, lactose sugar, flaked wheat, cinnamon and vanilla), the Churro Stout (milk stout with fresh churros in the mash, aged with cinnamon and vanilla beans) and the Nopalito (a wheat beer made with cactus leaves).

Cerveceria Colorado has received a warm welcome with five stars out of 11 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Eric A., who reviewed it on June 10, wrote, "Great outdoor environment with interesting murals, woodwork and music. The beer is outstanding as well, with unique palate options, like the Poblano Pils that is so delicious. Something for everyone here."

Emily B. noted, "Great Mexican-inspired beers and a super cool funky space. The bar and patio are so bright and colorful it's impossible to not have a good time!"

Cerveceria Colorado is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.

Dead Battery Club

Dead Battery Club is a cocktail and wine bar that serves up Mediterranean-inspired fare. According to its site, the name is a literal suggestion to come in and unplug from your phone in order to re-create the vibe of an old-school bar.

The menu includes cocktails like the Lithium (rye, caffe amaro, orange bitters, demerara sugar and rum-burnt coffee beans) and the Pelirroja Ardiente (sous vide-strawberry tequila, hell fire bitters, lime and sugar), along with wine, beer, coffee and tea. (See the full drink menu here.)

If you want to grab a bite, there are a variety of appetizers, salads, large plates and desserts.

Dead Battery Club currently holds 4.5 stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, indicating solid feedback from clientele.

Yelper Anita S., who reviewed it on June 7, wrote, "The cocktails were amazing; loved the Lithium Rye and I'm not a rye drinker. The Pelirroja Ardiente was also amazing, as was the Charo. Beautiful and tasty."

Kelsey O. added, "Really fun spot for an afternoon work break or after-work beverage. They offer some really well-crafted cocktails, as well as beer, wine and coffee! Small place, but laid out really nicely."

The Sportsbook Bar & Grill

Stop by The Sportsbook Bar & Grill for TVs tuned to the game, drinks and casual cuisine. This is its second location, after the one in the Denver Tech Center. 

The bar serves a selection of Colorado draft beers and liquors, including local whiskeys, vodkas and gins from brands like Breckenridge and Stranahan's.
