If you've got Mediterranean on the mind, a recent opening is need-to-know. Located at 11704 Barrington Court in Brentwood, the new arrival featuring fast-casual fare is called Soom Soom Fresh Mediterranean.
The eatery has three additional locations in Los Angeles County and features farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine in the form of falafel, kebabs, hummus and more.
"Think Lawrence of Arabia meets Casablanca," the business says on its site. "We love all things Mediterranean and keep it classic with the originals."
Specialty dishes include Moroccan merguez sausage, Mediterranean meatballs, roasted cauliflower and sabich — a traditional vegetarian sandwich served in a pita with eggplant, hummus, Mediterranean salad, hard-boiled egg and tahini sauce. (You can check out the menu here.)
With a four-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Soom Soom Fresh Mediterranean is getting solid feedback from clientele.
