A new Greek spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called The Big Greek Cafe, the fresh arrival is located at 4806 Rugby Ave. in Woodmont Triangle.

It's the fourth location for the budding chain. “Our nearest one is Kensington, and a lot of people go there and ask when we’re coming to Bethesda," director of operations Tom Strawser told Bethesda Magazine. "So we found an opportunity and that was that."

The new location features its established favorites, including grilled lamb chops, a spanakopita platter, and crispy calamari.

With a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival is getting solid feedback from clientele.

Gerald P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 25, wrote, "I've been to one of the other locations and have been very excited for this location to open. I came for lunch today with some work colleagues, we ordered the gyro, souvlaki, falafel, Big Greek Bowl and a few other items. Everything was delicious."

And G Z. wrote, "This placed just opened and boy was I so excited to try them. Visited their other locations over the years and was so happy they opened up in downtown Bethesda. Food quality excellent and portions big!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. The Big Greek Cafe- Bethesda is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
