Spectra Art Space is an art gallery, studio and event space. Besides art exhibitions, it also sells glass art, apparel, jewelry, paintings and prints, among other merchandise.

"This little gallery is a hidden gem! The staff is super friendly and there is a ton of unique art. We picked up three pieces!" wrote Michael G. on Aug. 19. "Right now they have a show themed around tiny art. Artists from all over the world created pieces six inches or smaller. Just ask the staff about them. They love talking about each artist's pieces."

Stop by and check it out: it's open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)

Dos Luces Brewery

Dos Luces Brewery is a brewery, but doesn't serve your typical beer made with barley. Instead, it uses corn and aguamiel (agave nectar) to create chicha and pulque, respectively — traditional South American and Mesoamerican alcoholic beverages that the Inca and Aztec peoples drank. (You can learn more about these special brews here.)

Dos Luces Brewery currently holds four stars out of seven reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Kate A., who reviewed it on August 6, wrote, "I really didn't know what to expect from this blue corn-based beverage, but it is surprisingly tasty. Light, carbonated, with aromatic spices like cloves. And apparently gluten free! They also have some guest beer taps if you aren't into chicha. The atmosphere is cool and modern with string lights and lots of greenery."

Yelper Zachary L. added, "Fantastic place. Great vibes and very interesting brews. It's traditional Latin-based beer made from corn rather than barley. Give this place a try!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Dos Luces Brewery is open from 4–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 1–10 p.m. on Friday, noon–10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)

Base Camp Cyclery is a bike shop that offers bike sales, rentals and accessories, as well as repairs. Demos, coaching, classes and clinics are also available, according to its website.

Two cycling buddies, Harley McClellan and Sam Durnavich, are behind the new shop, per Business Den.

With three reviews on Yelp so far, locals are still warming up to the new shop.

Nikki J., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 8, said, "The owner hooked me up with the right bike for the terrain I rode. Went 40 miles total, half of it down Fort Morgen mountain and the other half of it in the city. What a great day I had on my rental!"

Base Camp Cyclery is open from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekends. (It's closed on Monday.)
