Nori Handroll Bar

Nori Handroll Bar is a sushi bar, offering tapas and more.

The menu offers a la carte handrolls and izakaya small plates alongside dessert and drink options. You'll see handrolls like the Negitoro (fatty tuna and scallion), the Ebi Katsu (panko shrimp and ginger dressing) and the Negihama (yellowtail, scallion and crushed sesame). 

Small plates include takoyaki (octopus dumplings) and salmon sashimi with truffle ponzu, micro cilantro, roasted garlic, ara shio and black pepper.

With a five-star Yelp rating out of 37 reviews, Nori Handroll Bar has been getting rave attention.

Rew B., who reviewed the eatery on Sept. 24, wrote, "The handrolls here have a lot of care and simple flavors to them. The izakaya tapas options are extremely tasty as well. It's nice to finally have a fast-casual place that serves this kind of quality food."

Yelper Mark S. added, "The food here is great. Everything they use there is very high quality and fresh. You can literally taste the difference."

Nori Handroll Bar is open from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5:30–10:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.–midnight on Friday, and 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.–midnight on Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)

King Buffet is a sushi bar and buffet spot, offering seafood and more.

The pan-Asian buffet restaurant offers Chinese, Mongolian and Japanese fare, including sushi options. Other dishes include fried rices, lo meins, chow meins and more. (See the full menu here.)

Yelp users are generally positive about King Buffet, which currently holds four stars out of nine reviews on the site.

Yelper Tony P., who reviewed King Buffet on October 17, wrote, "It's an all you can eat buffet. Over 200 items to choose from, including Chinese, American and Japanese food, plus their Mongolian grill section where you can choose your food items being cooked on a very large round stainless steel pan in front of you. ...  It's the largest and most spacious buffet restaurant that I've been to within the Dallas area, about 12,000 square feet of food counters and different sections."

Anthony O. noted, "Great new buffet! Sushi bar is amazing and the food is always hot and fresh. It's only a matter of time until they get super packed like the Plano location."

King Buffet is open from 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m.–10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Imoto

Imoto is an upscale Japanese restaurant that offers sushi, pan-Asian fare and cocktails. Imoto, which means little sister in Japanese, is helmed by chef Kent Rathbun.

On the menu, expect dishes like the wagyu New York strip (with a Sichuan peppercorn crust, grilled broccoli and warm mushroom vinaigrette), the Cherry Blossom smoked salmon (with Hawaiian sweet potato puree, white miso glaze and yuzu kosho) and the Japanese Snapper roll (with ume relish, micro red shiso and daikon). Thus far, Imoto has received positive feedback from diners with a current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of 58 reviews.

Jenna S., who visited it on August 7, said, "I can't say enough great things about Imoto. Friendly staff, wonderful food from both the kitchen and the sushi bar, great atmosphere. My favorite was the Korean fried chicken, dragon-style peppers and the duck phở from the kitchen, and the Imoto roll from the sushi bar. The drinks were delicious and beautiful."

Jacob C. added, "What can I say? Everything here just exceeded my expectations, from the exquisite food from the hot kitchen to the beautiful cuts of fish from the sushi bar—this place is truly a gem."

Imoto is open from 5–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, and 5–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Sunday.)
