Policy and a Pint: We Voted . . . Now What?

On Thursday, the Ruhstaller brewery and taproom downtown is hosting a free, public panel discussion on the expected results of the election happening Tuesday, November 6. (That's today — it's not too late to vote now, if you haven't.)

Panelists will include Kim Alexander, president of the California Voter Foundation, Brian Brokaw, senior political advisor to Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom, and Tim Rosales, campaign manager for gubernatorial candidate John Cox.

Psychedelic Psacramento: CapRadio's Second Saturday Reception

Sacramento classic rock station K-ZAP, found at 93.3 on the radio dial, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with Capital Public Radio. The Second Saturday event will include a collection of music memorabilia such as poster art, handbills, photos, LPs and ticket stubs. 

Admission is free, but requires an RSVP, and Terra d'Oro Winery will be providing complimentary wine.
