(See the full menu here.)

Melissa G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 23, wrote, "Came here because I saw a picture of the shrimp cocktail on Instagram. Ordered it and loved it! Then we got the sampler, then our meals. The most important takeaway is that the portions are huge! Couldn't even touch my dinner."

And Jessica S. wrote, "This is the yummiest food ever! Unique flavors I have only had here."

Loren B., who reviewed it on Nov. 18, said, "Cool, authentic New Orleans atmosphere, a strong beer selection, solid service and tasty food make Bourbon Street Oyster Bar & Grill an instant winner. ... the flavor of the Char-Grilled Oysters with butter, herbs, Parmesan and Romano cheese was quite good."

John B. added, "I've look high and low in the DFW area for authentic New Orleans char-grilled oysters. Until I tried Bourbon Street, I thought they didn't exist. But they do here! Spot on!"

Swing on by to check it out: it's open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. daily.

OMG Tacos

3011 Bledsoe St., Arlington Heights

OMG Tacos is a new Tex-Mex and Asian fusion spot, offering tacos, nachos, burritos and more.

The menu allows you to build your own tacos by choosing your meat (chicken, steak, barbacoa and more), a corn or flour tortilla and your toppings (like cheddar, pico de gallo or guacamole). You can also order a specialty taco, like the OMG Pork with marinated pork, onions, cilantro, pickled carrots & daikon and spicy mayo drizzle. The menu offers other options as well, like tortas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and loaded fries, which can similarly be customized to taste. (See the full menu here.)

With three stars out of 12 reviews on Yelp thus far, it's off to an uneven start, but it's still early days.

Madalyn N., who reviewed it on Nov. 26, wrote, "The tacos taste like real Mexican tacos, but with a nice little Asian flair to it. I love fusion and am used to getting eclectic fusion cuisines similar to this in Austin, and though the Asian flavors are only subtle, it's the best place we've got here in Fort Worth!"

Ryan L. noted, "We decided to give this place a shot because the pictures in the menu looked incredible. What we did not realize, however, is that the tacos they serve you are smaller than the images on their menu. Not even kidding. I was expecting small tacos due to the low base cost, but not that small. Also, when adding fixings to your custom taco, they can add up pretty quickly and can get pretty pricey for not a lot of food."

Hungry? Stop in and check it out: it's open daily from 11 a.m.–3 a.m.
