Topping the list is Chicken Latino. Located at 155 21st St. in Strip District, the Latin American and Peruvian spot is the highest rated Latin American restaurant in Pittsburgh, boasting four stars out of 184 reviews on Yelp.

Owned by Peruvian natives, the menu offers Peruvian, Mexican and American options. Cooked in a wood-fired brick oven imported from Peru, the Pollo a la Brasa is chicken marinated and seasoned with spices including cumin, garlic, cilantro and dried Peruvian chilles and served with black beans and rice. Wash it all down with a traditional Peruvian Inka Cola, a fruity drink with hints of coconut, banana and pineapple.

The restaurant also has entertainment on select nights like salsa dancing.

Yelper Will L. said, "The food didn't take long to come out, and it smelled and tasted great. We got some roasted chicken and an order of fried sweet plantains. It looked like a good amount, but we were able to put it all down because it was delicious. I'll definitely want to come back next time I'm in the area."

2. La Feria
