Spice 8 is a fast casual fusion Indian and Nepalese spot.
The build-your-own entree concept allows you to pick from a bowl, wrap, pizza, momo or biryani, building each one with your choice of protein and veggies. You can also score a kebab or curry entree, a samosa plate and other options. Pair your meal with a beer and finish up with a gulab jamun (a milk-based fried dough dipped in sugar syrup). Larry M., who was among the first to review it on October 30, said, "Pretty good place to eat. The food appears to have influences from India, as well as Nepal, and the service is pretty fast unless you get the momos. And, speaking of the momos, these had a good flavor, and the sauces are pretty cool."
Yelper Jen M. added, "It was delicious! Think Chipotle, but with Indian food. I had the super bowl. They let me customize everything, even mixed the rices together."

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery is a new breakfast and brunch spot. This is the chain's first location in Fort Worth, though there are two other outposts in the Metroplex over in Dallas.
The cafe offers dishes like the Breakfast Pot Pie with rosemary sausage gravy over a puff pastry, topped with an egg any style; the Chili Verde Benny with your choice of slow-cooked pulled pork or barbacoa-style beef, topped with a poached egg, green chili hollandaise and cotija cheese; and the Havana Daydreaming sandwich that is stuffed with pork, shaved ham, Gruyere cheese, homemade pickles and an egg with cream cheese hollandaise Dijon mustard. The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of 25 reviews on Yelp.
Amanda J., who was among the first to review it on October 24, wrote, "I woke up nice and early to help the new Fort Worth location kick off their grand opening to the public and I was met with smiling faces, hot coffee, fun music and great vibes. This place behaved like a seasoned breakfast spot at 10 a.m. on a busy Saturday — but it was 6:45 a.m. on a Wednesday."

BurgerFi is a New American spot, offering burgers and hot dogs. This is the national chain's first location in Fort Worth and third overall in DFW.
It offers burgers like the CEO (double wagyu/brisket blend burger, candied bacon tomato jam, truffle aioli and aged Swiss cheese) and the Breakfast All Day Burger (Angus beef, American cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, grilled onions and ketchup). (See all of its burgers here.)
You can also score veggie and chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, shakes and frozen custard.
With a four-star rating out of 21 reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is getting solid feedback from clientele.
Yasamin H., who reviewed it on October 21, wrote, "Absolutely delicious! I would say better than Five Guys! The beef quality was on point, onion rings are flavorful and crispy, fries with the Cajun type of seasoning were also amazing! Everything was fresh, ordering online is easy and customer service was great as well."

FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts

FunkyTown Donuts & Drafts is a new doughnut shop and beer bar. It's the first expansion for the Fort Worth doughnut shop, adding the beer bar element.
In addition to normal flavors, the doughnut place has a list of rotating custom doughnut flavors. When you drop in, you could see options like maple & candied bacon, caramel with M&Ms, red velvet cake, apple fritter, pumpkin spice cake and others.
Because it's located in the pedestrian-friendly Sundance Square, you can actually take your draft beer to-go in a specially marked cup.
The new business has already attracted fans, with a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far.
Cyrus A., who was among the first to review it on October 13, wrote, "Great corner spot for gourmet doughnuts and delicious coffee! The space is clean and well lit, with countertop and table seating. Service is friendly and helpful — I enjoyed learning more about how the dough and glazes are made."
Christopher L. added, "FunkyTown Donut masters are very inventive. Maple with bacon? Yes, please! Pumpkin pie? Why not? Boston Cream? Of course! These creations are a bit costly ($2 and up each), but what do you expect for an artisan doughnut?"

Barrel & Bones

Barrel & Bones is a new smokehouse and bar, offering barbecue and more. This is its second location after the original over in The Colony.
On the menu, expect to see smoked meats like brisket, chicken, pulled pork, turkey breast and sausage. You can order the meats on a plate, which includes a side. Sides include loaded baked potato salad, mac and cheese and jalapeño coleslaw. You can also score a sandwich or some ribs. Finish your meal with some Key lime pie or a fudge brownie. Barrel & Bones has proven popular thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
