Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top hot dog sources in San Antonio, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to venture next time you're on the hunt.

1. Fattboy Burgers & Dogs

Topping the list is Fattboy Burgers & Dogs. Located at 2345 Vance Jackson Road in Dellview, the spot to score burgers, hot dogs and ice cream is also the highest rated hot dog spot in San Antonio, boasting 4.5 stars out of 428 reviews on Yelp.

Its hot dog, called a Fattdog, can be dressed as you like it, from simple mustard and relish to chili and cheese. Pair your dog with some fries or onion rings, plus a beer. You can also score burgers, chicken sandwiches and more. (See the full menu here.)

Andrea U. said, "Everything was awesome! Burger, hot dogs, onion rings and fries! They all had a homemade kind of taste. I enjoyed that the burgers were juicy but not greasy. The onion rings are fried just right."

2. Wrigleyville Grill

Next up is Shearer Hills - Ridgeview's Wrigleyville Grill, situated at 602 N.W. Loop 410, Suite 146. With 4.5 stars out of 401 reviews on Yelp, the Chicago-themed spot, which offers Greek fare, hot dogs and sandwiches, has proven to be a local favorite.

If you're looking for hot dogs, you'll see the Chicago Hot Dog with mustard, onion, relish, tomato, sport peppers, a pickle spear and celery salt; the Chicago Fire Hot Dog, which adds ghost pepper chili sauce; and the Kraut Dog with mustard and sauerkraut cooked in beer. (See the full menu here.)

3. The Dogfather

North Shearer Hills's The Dogfather, located at 6211 San Pedro Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the spot to score hot dogs and more 4.5 stars out of 264 reviews.

Its hot dogs include the Hitman with beef bolognese, crushed red pepper, mozzarella, Parmesan and herbs; the Mushroom Kingdom with white wine & herb sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions and Swiss cheese; and the Wake 'N Bake with a glazed doughnut bun, sliced bacon and a fried egg.

Phillip H., who reviewed it on Aug. 30, wrote, "Got the Mushroom Kingdom dog. Honestly, best dog I've ever had. The combo came with a drink and a hearty side of tots. Fast and friendly service. Moderately priced, but worth it."

4. The Shack

On the menu, you'll see options like the Mexican Dog with pico de gallo, bacon, mayo and avocado; the Caliente Dog with Hot Cheetos, nacho cheese, mayo and jalepeños; and the Southwest Dog with corn, bacon, pico de gallo, avocado, white cheese and mayo. Besides hot dogs, you can score sandwiches and burgers.

5. Mad Mack's Burger Co

Finally, over in Mission San Jose, check out Mad Mack's Burger Co, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 125 reviews on Yelp. You can find the spot to score burgers and hot dogs at 2933 Roosevelt Ave.

Hot dogs include the Sonoran Dog with  bacon, refried beans, guacamole and pico de gallo; the All American with chopped onion and pickle; and the Chili Cheese with chili, chili con queso and chopped onion.
