Miss Pixie's 6th Annual Holiday Market!
First up, this free holiday market will feature live "gypsy jazz" from The Bitter Dose Combo. Enjoy their music while shopping for vintage furniture and home decor at Miss Pixie's, where local makers and small businesses will offer their wares.

Sound Patterns: The Warriors Movie Art Exhibition
Next, Shaolin Jazz will make their Kennedy Center debut on Saturday night, when they will present a multimedia screening of the 70s cult classic film "The Warriors." Join them to celebrate at this free pre-party on Friday. Shaolin Jazz co-founder DJ 2-Tone Jones will provide music, while visitors engage with art inspired by the movie. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and cocktails from El Silencio Mezcal, will enhance the scene.

Messiah Chamber Orchestra: Messiah at St. Marks
Or, join the Messiash Chamber Orchestra for their free performance of Handel's "Messiah." It takes place at historic St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. Corelli's "Christmas Concerto" and Saint-Saens' "Christmas Oratorio" are also on the bill.

Linn Meyers: Work
Finally, on Sunday, local artist Linn Meyers will discuss her work and her collaborations with the likes of Tim Doud and Caitlin Teal Price—cofounders with Meyers of the local studio, STABLE—at the National Gallery of Art. Known for monumental installations drawn straight onto the wall, as in the Hirschorn Museum's "view from here," Meyers will also be available to sign copies of her new monograph.
