A new bar and Korean and Filipino spot has debuted in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Downtown, called Fort Street Galley, is located at 160 W. Fort St.
Founded by the Galley Group, Fort Street Galley is a food hall concept that consists of four different restaurants that each serve their own menu selection. The four restaurants that occupy Fort Street Gallery are: Allenby, Isla, Lucky’s and Pursue.
Allenby has a varied menu of worldly dishes that range from its pork belly poutine (with milk braised pork belly, french fries, cheese curds and pickled mustard seeds) to the Yemenite falafel (made of tahina, Amba, Israeli pickles, roasted onion and jalapeño).
Isla serves Filipino cuisine that consists of appetizers, entrees, desserts, rice and more. Expect items like the Seafood Sinigang plate that has salmon and shrimp in a tamarind broth.
Looking for barbecue and other American dishes? Then Lucky’s is the spot. The menu consists of many barbecue and smoked meals like the wagyu beef short rib nugget which is served with cauliflower risotto from the“BBQ Pit Masters” menu.
With a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new bar seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Matthew S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec.9, wrote, " Tonight I tried Pursue. It was healthy, tasty and the fish was fresh. I'll definitely be returning for the rice bowl, as well as to try the other spots."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Fort Street Galley is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.– 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m on Saturday and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
