Bubble tea fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called Redstraw, the new arrival is located at 14031 Jeffrey Road in Northwood and features cocktail-inspired teas with an assortment of different toppings.
The fusion-style newcomer — with a sister outpost in Los Angeles — uses high-quality tea leaves sourced from around the world. Customers can choose a create-your-own option or select from a variety of signature creations like the Watermelon Rose Mojito made with oolong infused rose and housemade mint syrup.
The new addition has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of 17 reviews on Yelp.
Nami C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 6, wrote, "Ordered the jasmine green milk tea and the French Daisy, both with boba... so good! They have samples in front of the register also. Can't wait to go back and try the other drinks!"
"Love their concept of what a drink should be," shared Yelper Bryant N. "Organic, not using fructose corn syrup and brewed on site will definitely make this a must try place. I tried the Grasshopper — essentially a cucumber drink, which was both refreshing and not overly sweet."
