They did a great job of keeping her calm from check in to check up, surgery and post surgery care. The staff and the doctors are friendly, personable and professional. Las Flamas Mexican Kitchen is a sports bar and Mexican spot.
Patrons can cheer on their favorite teams or watch the biggest games on many of their large-screen TVs and enjoy a Tex-Mex themed menu. Be sure to start your meal with one of the many appetizers, such as a bowl of queso or guacamole, or a plate of spinach quesadillas. For the main course, there is the pollo poblano a la parrilla with grilled chicken breast filled with queso asadero and covered in poblano cream sauce with a side of mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies.
Order margaritas, tequila drinks or Mexican and domestic beer from the bar to wash down the meal.
Las Flamas Mexican Kitchen currently holds 3.5 stars out of five reviews on Yelp, indicating solid reviews.

Kosher Palate is a Jewish deli and grocery store.
On the menu, you'll see options like grilled salmon, smoked brisket, barbecue grilled chicken and fried chicken tenders. The deli sandwiches include one-third pound of either salami, bologna, turkey, pastrami, corned beef or roast beef on either rye, wheat, Texas toast or in a wrap. The deli also provides full service catering.
The grocery stocks a wide assortment of kosher items for weekly cooking and meals, as well as for holiday occasions.
Kosher Palate currently holds 4.5 stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.
Yelper Sarah J., who reviewed Kosher Palate on Nov. 15, wrote, "So happy to have a new kosher restaurant/market in Dallas! I rarely eat meat, so I can't comment on their barbecue, but there are several parve sides that are delicious (the mashed potatoes are my fave), and I highly recommend the baked goods. You won't find better bagels in Texas. The market has a great selection of kosher groceries, as well as Judaica items."
Lauren L. noted, "Came here to satisfy a craving and was very happy with both the brisket and coleslaw. I packed my leftovers for home and wound up eating them out of the to-go box. It's that good."
