Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top bike shops in San Antonio, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to venture next time you're in the market for bike shops.
1. Gotta Ride Bikes
Topping the list is Gotta Ride Bikes. Located at 4553 N. Loop 1604 West, Suite 1105, the bike shop, which also offers repair and maintenance, is the highest rated shop of its kind in San Antonio, boasting five stars out of 26 reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Jon N. said, "Great customer service. Bought a bike for my daughter and they were extremely helpful, assisting with the bike that was best for her. They also did a great job tuning my bike."
2. Performance Bicycle
Next up is Performance Bicycle, situated at 15044 San Pedro Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 61 reviews on Yelp, the bike shop has proven to be a local favorite.
Tom R. said, "Great shop. Great guys there. Helped me out with my cassette. Great deals as well. My shoes and helmet are still going strong. Easy to get to and they have pretty much everything you could need for a bike."
3. Alamo Bike Shop
Five Points's Alamo Bike Shop, located at 1016 N. Flores St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the bike shop, bike rental and bike repair and maintenance spot 4.5 stars out of 28 reviews.
