A new spot to score coffee has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Santa Monica, called Blue Bottle Coffee, is located at 2439 Main St.
Blue Bottle Coffee focuses on the individual cup, known for roasting six pounds of beans at a time, according to the Santa Monica Daily Press. The Frank Gehry-designed building most recently housed a Peet's Coffee.
With a four-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Blue Bottle Coffee has been warmly received by patrons.
Sean B., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Dec. 2, wrote, "Great new coffee shop in the neighborhood! The coffees are super flavorful and fresh. Good pastries too. The space is incredible, so light and airy."
Yelper Alicia P. added, “My cappuccino was perfect. I loved all the branded coffee paraphernalia, too. Friendly service and clean seating area. ”
