A Wake For The Seattle Viaduct

The Viaduct has been a part of Seattle since the early 1950s. February will mark the highway's destruction. Stop by Cafe Nordo for a farewell that will include music, poetry and an open microphone.

Crosscut Live is an event that combines storytelling, debate, communication and journalism. Stop by for drinks, networking, debate and stories from the past and present about the divide of Seattle vs. Spokane.

The state of Washington is oftentimes considered to be a two-part state; west of the Cascade mountains, which includes the capital of Olympia and the metropolis of Seattle; and the eastern part of the state, with conservative rural areas and creative Spokane.

Seattle Stories: A Public Radio Showcase and Listening Party

Ten producers. Ten stories. All created in one week. Come listen to the top talent in the Seattle metropolitan area. Presented in part by both Transom.org and Atlantic Public Media, attendees can expect stories on topics from a Korean immigrant teacher to a local barber for the LGBTQ community.
